2011 WSOP Event 4, 6, 7 and 9 Winners

Event #4:  No-Limit Hold'em

Allen Bari - Event #4 winner
Buy-in: $5 000
Prizepool:  $4 065 500
Entries:  865

First place money:  $874 116

Allen Bari managed to seal the deal following his massive lead when it was down to 4 players.  Last year's winner Brian Lemke had a great showing but finished in 14th.  Other notables were Maria Ho in 2nd, Carlos Mortenson in 17th, Jonathan Little in 19th and JC Tran in 29th.  The top Canadian was Sean LeFort who topped out at 3rd place.

Event #6:  Limit Hold'em

Harrison Wilder - Event #6 winner

Buy-in: $1 500
Prizepool:  $911 250
Entries:  675

First place money:  $205 065

Harrison Wilder managed to win the $1 500 Limit Hold'em bracelet after moving with his parents to Vegas only 3 weeks earlier.  This will only inspire others to move and take a shot at the big money...

On another note JJ Liu finished 30th.  Some of you may remember her as the pro that knocked our very own Big Stack Bobby out of a sit and go at the Mirage a couple of years ago as we waited to get our room, only minutes removed from arriving in Vegas.  For that monumental sit and go, JJ wore her WPT "Ladies Night Out" bracelet - I think Big Stack was dazzled by the bling.

Event #7:  Pot Limit Hold'em Championship

Amir Lehavot - Event #7 winner
Buy-in: $10 000
Prizepool:  $2 340 600
Entries:  249

First place money:  $573 456

Amir Lehavot beat out a number of big names on day 3 of the Pot Limit Championship to take down his first WSOP bracelet.  Robert Mizrachi - 12th, Mike Matusow - 20th, Jennifer Tilley - 21st and Nenad Medic - 25th were some of the pros that got a sniff of the bracelet before bowing out.

Event #9:  2-7 Draw Lowball (No-Limit)

Matt Perrins - Event #9 winner
Buy-in: $1 500
Prizepool:  $371 250
Entries:  275

First place money:  $102 105

Matt Perrins is the second Brit to win a bracelet at this years WSOP.  The first Brit was Jake Cody who won Event #2 and happens to be Perrin's best friend!  That is pretty cool, but better than that is this fact; the first hand of this tournament was the first hand he'd ever played in 2-7 Lowball!  Charmed I'm sure!

Jason Mercier finished 7th and the top Canadian was ex-pro hockey player Greg Mueller in 18th.

Underway are Event 8 ($1 000 No Limit Hold'em), Event 10 (#1 500 N-Limit Hold'em / 6 Handed), Event 11 ($10 000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship) and Event 12 ($1 500 Triple Chance No-Limit Hold'em).
