Manitoba Lotteries Poker Championship


The Manitoba Poker Lotteries Open in April was a huge success and so this October, they are holding another major tournament series in October.  I am posting the schedule below for the Manitoba Lotteries Poker Championship at McPhillips Street Station in Winnipeg.  I will post more details on the blog as the event nears.  The results from April's Poker open have been posted in the comments section here.


DAY 1 - October 27, 2011

WINNIPEG SUN  
Freeze Out Tournament
 

12:00pm start time
• $550 buy-in + $50 registration fee
• Maximum number of players: 330
• Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted
• $10,000 starting chips
• 30 minute blind levels
• Play will cease at 2:00am


DAY 2 - October 28, 2011

STAGE 1


12:00pm start time

• The remaining players from Day 1 will resume play

STAGE 2

92 CITI FM

Bounty Tournament


1:00pm start time

• $275 buy-in + $25 registration fee
($225 towards the prize pool, $50 towards
the bounty and $25 registration fee)
• Maximum number of players: 330
• Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted
• $5,000 starting chips
• 20 minute blind levels
• Play to completion ($50 taken from
the buy-in will be used to pay
$50 bounties as players are eliminated)


DAY 3 - October 29, 2011

Manitoba Lotteries Poker Championship
Texas Hold’em No Limit Freeze Out Tournament


12:00pm start time

• $1,000 buy-in + $100 registration fee
• Maximum number of players: 330
• Re-entry (late registration) will be accepted
• $15,000 starting chips
• 45 minute blind levels
• Play will cease at 2:00am


DAY 4 - October 30, 2011

1:00pm start time
• The remaining players from Day 3 will resume play
• 60 minute blinds
• Play to completion

I just started a poll to see if we have any players wishing to run satellites for the MB Poker Championship. If there is enough interest, I can run feeders for any of the 3 events.

I can start running satellites at any point, we don't need to wait until fall.

we should also have it where the winner gives a percentage of him/herself for the tournament that they play in. that would make it a more worthwhile investment.
