From the Felt to the Felt Up

Apparently last week in Albuquerque, New Mexico a man was sentenced to 12 years in jail after failing to win back restitution that he owed to investors he bilked in a ponzi scheme.  The interesting thing about this story is that the judge had delayed the prison time in order to allow the man time to win back some of the money by winning poker tournaments.

Samuel McMaster Jr. an ex-insurance agent stole $450 000 from 23 senior citizens had been given the chance by Judge Ross Sanchez last August but had failed to earn any money during his 6 month reprieve from jail.

It looks like state officials will probably re-examine the ways in which restitutions will be made as a result of McMaster.

No doubt.
Samuel McMaster Jr. - A sentenced bluffer.
I imagine prison won't be kind to the thief.  File this under "From the Felt to the Felt Up."
